The owners, the servers, from start to finish offer you a dining experience like no other. Coming from New York it’s very hard to find good Italian food in South Florida but Amore takes the cake. There are weeks where my husband and I eat here 4-6 times back to back. If you can make your way here just give it a try and you will NOT be disappointed! I have been a customer for years, but will not give you my business ever again. I do not & will not accept an apology nor a response from the establishment owners because I am myself a multi business owner and an active EEO representative and there is NO EXCUSE for this kind of abuse. My husband & I invited my family from out of town for pizza & had the most horrible, humiliating experience at this establishment by the employees behind the counter, especially the manager. The waitress was very kind, but that will not stop me from making this information known. My niece just recently had bariatric surgery and she has 2 handicap sons & a disabled husband. The 12yr old is autistic & they all have a restricted diets. We ordered 2 large pizzas, an adult entree, wine, drinks, 3 side salads and an appetizer. Along with that, we ordered 5 children's chicken parmesans (because 5 of us could only eat very small portions due to special diets) and a couple of girls & the manager, yelled from behind the counter, "We are NOT going to make the 5 kids chicken parmesans meals because there are adults there"... so our waitress walked over with another girl and said, "I'm sorry, but they said you have to order the adult portions of the chicken parmesans because they said they're not going to make it." I explained the reasons to the waitress (that we have someone who just had recently bariatric surgery, one autistic 12 yr old and 3 other people that could not order a whole portion because their diet is limited...& again the manager yelled from behind the counter, "We don't care about the reason, you just can't order 5 kids meals along with the other food because we are not going to make them! The manager said, "The chicken parmesans have to be adult portions!". I again explained, "If we're ordering TWO large pizzas, a main entree, wine, salads, appetizer and drinks, along with the 5 kids meals; What 's the problem? What if we were ordering to-go?" The waitress just said she was sorry but they're the boss & she had to do what she was told. Not only was my family completely humiliated in front of all the other customers... I was enraged & completely lost my appetite. I asked them for 2 small boxes to put the leftover pizzas, & the girl from behind the counter yelled, "They don't need 2 boxes, they can fit it in all in one..." and handed the waitress one box to give me. The waitress brought one empty large box to give to me and I again said, "I asked the girl behind the counter for 2 small boxes because the food is for 2 different people at 2 different houses". Omg. I have never been so angry and humiliated! ALL this 'unnecessary' humiliation and abuse towards my poor disabled family members from this establishment is completely unaccepable! Is this how they treat their customers & the disabled???!!! I will NEVER visit this establishment again. As a business owner myself, my only wish is that someday, these abusive employees get a dose of their own medicine. If the owners of this company does not care how their manager runs their business when they're not there, and/or treats their customers (especiallythe disabled); then they're the ones responsable for the their own demise.
